Refund and Return Policy

At Advantage Vacuums, we take pride in offering high-quality vacuum cleaners, parts, and service. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

1. Returns – New Products

  • New, unused products may be returned within 14 days of purchase.
  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and include all accessories, manuals, and proof of purchase.
  • Once the item is opened or used, it is considered final sale (see Section 4).

2. Refunds

  • Approved returns will be refunded to the original method of payment.
  • Refunds are issued after inspection of the returned item.
  • Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to be processed after approval.

3. Exchanges

  • Exchanges may be offered at the discretion of Advantage Vacuums, subject to product availability.
  • Any price difference must be paid at the time of exchange.

4. Final Sale Items

The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or refund:

  • Used or previously operated vacuum cleaners
  • Opened or used bags, filters, belts, or accessories
  • Clearance or discounted items
  • Special orders
  • Gift cards
  • Service, repairs, or labour charges

5. Defective or Damaged Products

  • If your product is defective or damaged upon receipt, please contact us within 48 hours of purchase or delivery.
  • Manufacturer warranties apply where applicable, and we will assist you in the warranty process when possible.
  • Damage caused by misuse, normal wear and tear, or improper maintenance is not covered.

6. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or an error was made by Advantage Vacuums.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.

7. In-Store Purchases

  • Items purchased in store must be returned in store with the original receipt.
  • Online purchases may be returned either in store or by mail, subject to the same conditions above.

8. Refused or Unclaimed Deliveries

  • Shipping costs for refused or unclaimed deliveries are non-refundable and may be deducted from any eligible refund.

9. Consumer Rights

This policy does not limit your rights under the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act of British Columbia or other applicable Canadian consumer protection laws.
